An Unforgettable Night at Spoons Lanzarote

By: Emma, visitor from Manchester I had heard whispers about Spoons before arriving in Lanzarote, but nothing prepared me for the night I spent there. It wasn’t just a meal out. It was one of those unexpected holiday moments that stays with you long after your tan fades. From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and seated us at a table with a view of the lively bar area. There was music softly playing in the background, the hum of happy conversations, and the smell of something amazing coming from the kitchen. We started with drinks. My husband ordered a pint and I went for a mojito, easily the best one I had on the island. Fresh, minty and perfectly balanced. The drinks came quickly and the waiter even gave us recommendations for the food specials of the night. We ended up trying the Steak Night menu because it was Tuesday. Let me just say… wow. The steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor, and came with a generous helping of sides. It was a meal I would expect at a high-end restaurant back home — and the price was shockingly reasonable. As the clock struck 10:00 PM, something magical happened. The lights shifted slightly and the live band “Mad Goats” took the stage. What followed was nearly two hours of pure joy. People started tapping their feet, some got up to dance, others just leaned back in their chairs and soaked in the atmosphere. The music was the perfect blend of fun, nostalgic and just loud enough to make you feel alive without killing the conversation. What truly stood out was the ambience. There was laughter everywhere, clinking glasses, people singing along, and strangers becoming friends. It felt real. No tourist trap gimmicks, just great energy and good people. We ended the night with a round of cocktails and shared a dessert. I honestly didn’t want to leave. Spoons doesn’t feel like a restaurant. It feels like the heart of Puerto del Carmen. It’s where holiday nights turn into stories you tell your friends when you get back. I already told my hotel receptionist the next morning: “If you want a real night out in Lanzarote, go to Spoons.” 💬 FROM SPOONS LANZAROTE We would like to thank Emma for these kind and heartfelt words. At Spoons, we always strive to offer not just great food and drinks, but a place where people feel at home — whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth. To all our visitors from around the world: thank you for sharing your evenings with us.We can’t wait to welcome you again soon.
